BCBSM is redesigning its member ID cards to meet Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association mandates. The purpose of the redesign is to give all Blues ID cards a similar look and feel and to make them easier to use.
The Blues will begin issuing the redesigned cards in phases, beginning this month, with all members receiving a new card by Jan. 1, 2011. Some individual group members and individual
business subscribers may receive redesigned cards this month as well.
